Angel One (formerly Angel Broking) is India's leading stockbroker by client count — over 24.7 million — across NSE and BSE, which makes real AI-agent access to its platform genuinely significant even though the integration itself is community-built rather than official.
Where It Sits Relative to Zerodha's Official Server
Unlike Zerodha's first-party Kite MCP, Angel One hasn't (as of this writing) shipped its own official server — the SmartAPI wrapper is a third-party project. That distinction matters for the same reason it does across every broker covered on this site: a first-party server carries the broker's own security review and long-term support commitment; a community wrapper doesn't, however well-built it is.
